In a significant development for Dubai’s urban landscape, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the new master plan for Palm Jebel Ali. The ambitious project is part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. It is being spearheaded by Nakheel, a renowned real estate master developer based in Dubai.
The approval ceremony took place in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

The 13.4 square-kilometre Palm Jebel Ali, double the size of Palm Jumeirah, will feature ample green spaces and unique waterfront experiences, extending Dubai’s coastline by over 110 kilometres. The development of Palm Jebel Ali will include more than 80 hotels and resorts and a wide range of entertainment and recreational options.
